Our 54 acre classroom

Lambourne End Centre has the rare, if not unique distinction of providing adventure, farm and environmental activities combined with a residential provision. All this is set among the rolling Essex countryside, yet within the M25.

 

Our site contains a farm education centre with a range of traditional and rare-breed livestock, a growing horticultural area, dedicated conservation areas including ponds and woodlands, and a variety of outdoor activity equipment including a 30ft climbing wall, outdoor swimming pool, low ropes course over water, mountain bikes, archery range and underground caving system.

 

We utilise all 54 acres of the site through our range of activities and we have different rooms and buildings for groups to use.

Through our activities and the programmes we deliver, we challenge people to look at the way they view themselves, the world in which they live and the people with whom they share it. Our aim is to inspire people who visit the centre to themselves inspire others in all walks of life.
