Experienced and qualified staff:

Minimum Lowland leader qualified

Qualified DofE supervisors

Qualified DofE assessors

Up to 20 years’ experience working within the DofE programme

Years of expedition experience in the UK and around the world

Extensive knowledge of all areas where expeditions are delivered

Full reconnaissance and risk assessments of areas and route
Basecamp support:

Emergency Phones for Groups

First aid kits for groups

Expedition leader – One member of staff in charge of the ultimate success of the expedition

Basecamp coordinator – A member of staff in constant contact with parents or the young person's next of kin, the expedition leader and supervisors when necessary

Supervisors – Qualified and experienced Lambourne End staff will be remotely supervising groups ensuring that checkpoints and campsites are reached.

Expedition leader and supervisors will be carrying comprehensive first aid kits.
