Covid-19 Updates

Covid-19 Statement - July 2022

Lambourne End Centre remains committed to taking responsible action to help control the spread of the Covid-19 virus whilst continuing to support our beneficiaries and the wider community. We are therefore continuing to follow the Governments guidelines. In line with the governments road map to recovery, we are now fully open and operating at full capacity as prior to the pandemic.

We will continue to focus our work on outdoor activities and any indoor spaces used will be fully cleaned in between groups. We encourage regular handwashing and the “catch it, bin it, kill it” approach.

However, we are now treating Covid as any other illness. We are therefore no longer asking staff to complete regular lateral flow tests. If any staff member becomes ill, rendering them unable to work, they are asked to let their line manager know as soon as possible, remain off work until they feel well enough to return, and then complete a sickness absence - return to work form upon their return. Normal sickness policy applies.

Similarly, volunteers and beneficiaries, are asked to inform the Centre as soon as possible if they are ill and unable to attend, and remain away from the Centre until they feel well enough to return.

We will continue to monitor the situation, and respond to any changes in the Government’s guidelines and will keep everyone updated with any changes to the current situation via our website.
