Covid-19 Updates

Lambourne End Centre is committed to taking responsible action to help control the spread of the Covid-19 virus whilst continuing to support our beneficiaries and the wider community. We are therefore continuing to follow the Governments guidelines and are slowly re-introducing programmes and services in line with the Governments road map to recovery.

We are open for a range of learning programmes, short break respite, school day visits, out of school club and family camps, as we continue to support the Centre’s vulnerable and at risk beneficiaries and help young people return to safe outdoor activities that improve their health and wellbeing.

The majority of staff have now returned from furlough to enable the delivery of these essential programmes. All staff, have been vaccinated and all staff, volunteers and users are being asked to complete a lateral flow test once a week, before attending the Centre. They are asked not to attend if they show any signs of Covid symptoms. The vast majority of work is completed outdoors where people are instructed to maintain social distancing. They are asked to wear masks when necessary and ensure they are washing their hands regularly, using soap or the hand sanitisers supplied. Staff are ensuring the regular cleaning of the facilities.

If you are interested in bringing a group to the Centre or arranging for an individual to join a learning  programme or out of school club, please do get in touch and we will discuss what we can offer, based on the current guidance at that time.

Our online farm shop will continue to take orders for collection on a Friday afternoon.

We sincerely hope that the actions we have taken and continue to take will protect the future of the Centre and enable us to return to providing a full service to our community as soon as it is possible.  We are convinced that there will be an even greater need for the work we do to help improve people’s health and wellbeing as people work to recover from the impacts of the pandemic.

We will continue to monitor the situation, and respond to any changes in the Government’s guidelines and will keep everyone updated with any changes to the current situation via our website.
